1 Ounce = Approx. 100 Sprays
DIRECTIONS: Spray directly on the nose or mouth once every 5 min 3x in a row. May also be repeated 3 more times in crisis. Use Method 1.
Animal consults are available by contacting our office.
We recommend using C-1 Immune Detox, C-2 Immune Boost, and C-3 Pro Vitality to detox, boost immunity, and increase the vitality of herds for overall healthier animals. Use these as directed.
GENERAL DIRECTIONS:
The custom formulas are available in 3 standard sizes in a concentrated form. The 1 oz. contains 100 doses of remedy if “spritzed” directly from the bottle if you have close proximity to the animal (method 1). This method provides the fastest delivery and response for emergencies or crisis management at .35 cents per dose. The 1 oz. bottle of concentrate may also be added to a half gallon of water in a 1-gallon sprayer using method 2 and 3 below. The coverage for method 2 is approximately 500 doses. Method 3 spraying the loose salt/mineral will cover 1,800 head for pennies a dose. Bulk 8 oz. and 16 oz. bottles provide more cost effective coverage dispensing 1 oz. per half gallon water into a sprayer or in bulk tanks for inline water systems (see method 4).
METHOD 1
For medicating an individual animal that needs immediate care. This is always the fastest acting and most direct method. Results should be obvious and signs of improvement begin from 10 minutes to 2-3 days. Spritz from the ready-to-use spritz bottle directly onto the mouth, nose or vulva of the animal. Use a spritz every 5 minutes 3 times in a row. Repeat 3 more times 20 minutes to one hour later. Repeat again when you make the rounds looking for obvious signs of improvement. Signs of improvement will be general energy increased, discharge or fever reduced, improved breathing, willing to eat or drink, etc. Keep this up for 3-5 days as long as you see improvement every day. If you don’t see improvement you have selected the incorrect remedy. Help is available for making an additional selection by calling the office or one of our field experts. Please describe the symptoms of the animal as opposed to the name of the disease, as it is more effective for selecting the correct remedy.
METHOD 2
For medicating multiple animals. Mix 1oz to 1/2 gal for 500 spray doses internasal spray or to medicate course salt.
1/2 oz to 1 qt water in 1 gal milk jug to succuss and spray salt or internasal for approx 100-200 cattle. 1/4 oz to 2cups of water to 1 gal milk jug to direct spray for less than 100 cattle. Medicated water may only be stored for 2 weeks. Only make what you need. Suggested to spray the salt with any extra after direct dosing.
1 oz. yields approximately 500 doses at $0.08 per dose.
HOMEOPATHIC PROPHYLAXIS (“IMMUNIZING”)
This formula’s coverage is comparable to the implied protection of “7-way,” Johne’s, Toxoplasmosis, Wasting, Pneumonia, Tetanus, and CAE. Use method 2. Make sure each animal is sprayed directly. One application bi-annually is plenty. Remember to use the HOMEOPATHIC PROPHYLAXIS for new additions to your flock. I recommend the second dose before the cold weather hits in the fall. This protection and prevention is of great value. This immunizing process may be combined with any other reason to run your sheep through the chute, including branding, etc. Many diseases of multiple names will be prevented with this method and formulation. (Names of diseases change with the pharma-drug treatments available and are ever changing.)
METHOD 3
THIS METHOD IS FOR MAINTENANCE AND PREVENTION, NOT TREATMENT OF A SICKLY FLOCK. (Spray sick animals directly for the best results.) Make the medicated water in Method 2. Now spray the loose salt with the remedy solution. One pours the loose salt from the bag slowly into tubs or buckets while another ranch hand sprays it with the remedy. Repeat this operation twice to ensure the salt is medicated. Put out the treated salt free choice like usual operation. The remedy will coat the salt and make its way via mucus membrane (mouth with saliva) of your animals. This method is very effective and produces results in over 90% of the flock (may miss a few due to the free choice options).
METHOD 4
THIS METHOD IS FOR OPERATIONS WITH IN-LINE WATERING SYSTEMS. MEDICATING THE TANK WITH THE REMEDY ALLOWS IT TO BE DISTRIBUTED TO EACH ANIMAL AS RECOMMENDED. Use one cup (8 oz.) of remedy in a 1 gallon jug half full of water shaken vigorously by pounding on your palm during shaking 10 times. Add the 1/2 gallon of medicated water to the holding tank and fill. This medicated water can be injected into the system. Please call with the specifics for best coverage for your operation and application. 8 oz. will medicate approximately 500 gallons of water.
For VULNERABLE CALVES
• Mix C-1 Immune Detox and C-2 Immune Boost together and orally spray all incoming animals on arrival.
• I recommend you keep these animals separated, with their own water source (calves do not eat the salt!).
• Prepare the remedy. Succuss the water and pour it into a clean tub, THEN add water to fill so that the next dose is delivered.
• The following day, use C-15 Weaning Ease remedy and C-3 Pro Vitality mixed together. Succuss (shaken hard, 1/2 oz remedy to 1/2 gal water in a 1 gal milk jug). Pour into a clean tub and fill with water.
• Repeat for up to 1 week to avoid respiratory infections, de-stress, and boost chances of success with sickly animals.
• Repeat C-2 Immune Boost and C-3 Pro Vitality with every opportunity over the next 30 days; via salt, water, or internasal.
• Add C-4 Finishing Booster and C-3 Pro Vitality weekly.
• Add C-2 Immune Boost 1x monthly, staying infection free.
• In the winter, adding C-14 Moldy Hay remedy with C-2 Immune Boost is a great idea.
• At every opportunity when handling the calves (branding, tagging, moving them, etc) spray them with the appropriate remedy. And always C-2 Immune Boost along with whatever you’re trying to do prevention for.
For BOTTLE FED CALVES
For BOTTLE FED CALVES:
Must source unmedicated milk replacer. All others contain meds (antibiotics and coccidia treatments).
On medicated feed, the calves are chronically relapsing. The remedies can be sprayed while bottle feeding with great success. Okay to medicate these vulnerable animals once a week.
If sick, medicate with C-15 Weaning Ease and C-14 Moldy Hay daily.
SUGGESTED PROCEDURES FOR PREVENTATIVE CARE
(Click to download PDF document to print).
ALL ANIMALS NEED TO BE DETOXED AND BOOSTED
C-1 IMMUNE DETOX AND C-2 IMMUNE BOOST FIRST. Everything for you will be easier after that intranasal dose, used together, to clean up.
BREEDING
C-17 Metritis: Foul Discharge – Clean up both Bulls and Cows/Heifers on mineral salt 4 weeks out.
Week 3, 2, & 1: C-20 Hormonal Wake Up with C-2 Immune Boost – before breeding for Cows and Heifers.
CALVING
2 and 3 WEEKS BEFORE CALVING; C-20 Hormonal Wake Up with C-3 Pro Vitality
1 Week Before; C-20 Hormonal Wake Up with C-24 Retained Placenta – for ease in delivery. Goal for less calf rejection, less need to turn the calves or birth assist required with good clean up.
CASTRATION AND BRANDING
1 Week before running through the shoot
C-13 Castration, Branding, Stress & Trauma with C-2 Immune Boost – on mineral salt for consumption.
C-13 Castration, Branding, Stress & Trauma with C-2 Immune Boost – used internasal, straight from the spray bottles, 1 dose twice 3-5 min apart is possible.
The goal is to de-stress, provide pain relief, and minimize tetanus vulnerability; resulting in easier handling. It’s okay for ranch hands to use one dose of C-13 Castration, Branding, Stress & Trauma to mellow out from this stressful procedure.
LICE
C-3 Pro Vitality with C-16 Lice Diminish – My opinion is that lice come from the results of malnourishment. End of winter, poor quality feed on the ground, and supplementing with bottom-of-the-barrel rations. Prevent with C-3 Pro Vitality with C-16 Lice Diminish weekly, all winter, helps to provide some kind of supplemental Once covered in Lice – need to apply both to salt and consider spraying cattle with the remedy direct in concentration.
C-4 Finishing Booster could be used on salt, alternating with C-3 Pro Vitality and C-16 Lice Diminish.
MOLDY HAY
Please do not be insulted that your hay could be (or not) moldy. ALL GRASS CONTAINS MOLD; worse as it ages or is poor quality used at the end of the season. The challenges are RESPIRATORY coughing and sneezing, and worse MISCARRIAGE with unexpected open cows.
RESPIRATORY Challenges – Note if freshly weaned, use the weaning remedy C-15 Weaning Ease (which is WHY they get sick). Be sure to do C-15 Weaning Ease; use ahead of weaning for prevention for prevention of pneumonia symptoms.
C-14 Moldy Hay Relief with C-12 Respiratory Relief – Usually occurring in older cattle previously vaccinated. Remember to clean animals with intranasal dose of C-1 Immune Detox and C-2 Immune Boost. All animals will perform better for you. Prevention – Okay to add medicated mineral salt and keep it out while feeding.
Respiratory Challenges – mix and spray intranasally, in addition to salt offering. Spray as many times in a day as you can. I’ve heard all the challenges. Do your best to never need that antibiotic!
The more you use the remedy the faster the response. Expect results of daily dosing to be 24-48 hours improved and on the mend. If not, consider adding C-9 Mastitis & Infection Relief in place of C-12 Respiratory Relief.
C-9 Mastitis & Infection Relief – Alternative option for unknown source of infection.
NEW CALVES
C-2 Immune Boost with C-3 Pro Vitality – At first opportunity to handle calves, intranasal
Consider: If mom’s vaxxed, please use C-1 Immune Detox with C-2 Immune Boost.
Wait for C-3 Pro Vitality at next opportunity.
WEANING
PRIOR TO WEANING for cows, starting 3 weeks ahead – Medicate the mineral salt, making available once a week, 3 times prior to weaning.
For the CALVES – mix C-15 Weaning Ease with C-2 Immune Boost, need intranasal dose direct from the spray bottle. Attempt 2 doses 5 min apart. This procedure will diminish stress, bawling, crying, and respiratory challenges.
The goal is an easy transition and no treatment necessary for pneumonia.
Apply C-15 Weaning Ease with C-2 Immune Boost onto the mineral salt weekly, for the next 4 weeks, for the calves; as they will begin to consume the medicated salt. Water medicated in small batches could be an option. Please call for protocol.
Follow up with C-3 Pro Vitality on the weekly doses of mineral salt.
WORMING (vs. POUR ON)
Apply to salt with C-3 Pro Vitality, 1x a month is great.
For vulnerable to screwworm or Anaplasmosis; Use C-29 Anaplasmosis Treat & Relief with C-5 Alternative Wormer. For Anaplasmosis positive cattle; cull and treat 2x daily for up to 2 weeks to save the animal.
Encourage you to call for complications.
